How we count
Every restaurant counts equally. No restaurant is named.
Real reservations. Every figure comes from bookings made on Dinesurf, online by diners or entered by restaurants for walk-ins, calls and WhatsApp. Test accounts, deleted bookings and table blocks are left out.
The typical restaurant, not the busiest. Each figure is computed for every restaurant separately, then summarised so a handful of very busy venues can't stand in for everyone.
Private by construction. A figure appears only when at least 5 restaurants contribute to it. Diners are counted, never identified.
